The Michael Nortey Tennis Foundation is committed to empowering the youth of Ghana by equipping them with the resources and opportunities needed to excel in tennis and unlock their full potential. Leveraging Michael Nortey's wealth of experience as a world-ranked ATP tour player for Ghana and a seasoned coach, the foundation aims to inspire passion and impart valuable tennis knowledge to the next generation. The organization provides young players with essential skills that will serve them well both on the tennis court and in their future pursuits, ensuring they have access to the same opportunities that propelled Michael to international success.

The vision of the Michael Nortey Education and Tennis Foundation is to support underprivileged children in achieving success both academically and athletically. By supplying school materials and organizing tennis clinics and tournaments, we aim to motivate children to become exemplary citizens who value their education. Furthermore, offering a constructive recreational outlet gives young people the tools they need to shape their own futures and develop into positive, contributing members of their communities.

High Performance and Junior Development
Michael was a world ranked ATP tour player for Ghana and represented his home country in the 2007 Davis Cup. Equally adept at coaching, his passion for the game is infectious and comes through on court. As a professional coach at the NYJTL Cary Leeds Center for Tennis & Learning, he works at developing the skills and techniques of high-performance junior players. His passion for tennis extends back to Ghana, where he supports young players by sending money and equipment, fostering the same passion that drove his global success.

ERIC TETTEH NARTEY
Eric is a Chartered Insurance Practitioner with over 18 years of experience in the Ghanaian insurance industry, having attended various training programs both in Ghana and abroad. In addition to his professional career, he serves as a part-time lecturer at several educational institutions. His strong passion for junior tennis development led to his appointment as a member of the Ghana Tennis Federation Development Committee. Currently, he holds the position of Chairman at the Accra Social Tennis Club, located at the Accra Sports Stadium. Eric has been actively involved in the sport for over 20 years. In his free time, he enjoys playing and watching tennis, traveling, following soccer, and supporting young children in their endeavors.

RICHARD AYI DARTEY
29 OCTOBER 1973 - GHANAIAN NATIONAL TENNIS COACH
Richard Ayi Dartey is a dedicated tennis coach with a rich history in the sport, starting his coaching career in 1990 at Maiden Tennis Club in East Legon. His experience spans local and international organizations, including ITF High Performance Training Centre SA, Aviation Social Centre, Allcourt Tennis Academy USA, and Skyline Tennis Academy USA. He has worked with players of all levels, conducting ITF Level One and Play&Stay courses, and assisted ITF Development Officer for Africa, Mr. Nicholas Ayebua, in West Africa. Richard is committed to continuous learning and improvement in his coaching career.
